Small Groups

We believe that church happens beyond the walls of a building we all gather in on Sundays and Wednesdays. We are the church and that means the church goes everywhere and reaches everyone. Throughout the week, we have families that host Small Groups in their homes. We'd love to get you connected with one!

What To Expect

We know that going to someones house can be daunting. Let us help letting you know what you'll be walking into. When you arrive, someone very nice will be there to greet you and introduce you to more nice people. We've got really awesome food at all our small groups; so if you're coming straight from work, we've got you covered. After dinner, we will worship around the living room with songs, pray like God is listening and discuss the Bible in a ways that is relevant and applicable for our lives.

What About My Kids?

We love having kids at group! Kids will take part in food and worship time with the whole group and then will engage with other kids in a safe and fun environment while Bible study is happening.

How To Get Connected

Immediately following the service on Sunday, come by the "You Belong Here" cart in the cafe area and we'd love to get you connected to a group.

If you'd like to have one of our small group leaders connect with you, fill out the form below and one of our leaders in your area will reach out.

  • Samuel & Briana Reynolds

    Group Meets Sunday at 5:00PM

This Small Group is journeying through the book of Exodus, discovering how God’s great story of deliverance points directly to Jesus. From the Passover lamb to the crossing of the Red Sea, we’ll see how themes of freedom, covenant, and redemption find their fulfillment in Christ.

Together, we’ll connect the Old Testament to the New, deepening our understanding of God’s character and His plan to rescue and dwell with His people. If you want to see the Bible come alive as one unified story centered on Jesus, this group is a powerful place to grow.

  • Tim & Cathy ObriAnt

    Group Meets Tuesday at 6:00PM

This Small Group is exploring the life of King David—a man of great courage, deep worship, painful failure, and remarkable repentance. Together, we’ll learn from his victories and his mistakes, seeing how God shapes imperfect people for His purposes.

Through David’s story, we’ll discover what it truly means to be a person after God’s own heart—cultivating humility, obedience, passion for worship, and a quick return to grace when we fall. If you’re longing to grow in authenticity and wholehearted devotion, this group will encourage and challenge you in all the right ways.

  • Brandon & Natalie Dague

Group Meets Wednesday at 7:00 PM

In this Small Group, we’re diving into Grace by Max Lucado—a powerful reminder that God’s love isn’t something we earn; it’s something we receive.

With warmth, clarity, and biblical insight, Lucado unpacks what grace really means and how it transforms the way we see God, ourselves, and others. If you’ve ever wrestled with guilt, performance, or feeling “not enough,” this study will help you breathe again and rediscover the freedom found in Christ.

Come experience the life-changing truth that grace is greater than your past, your failures, and your fears.

  • Greg & Rebecca Caylor

    Group Meets Thursday at 6:30PM

This Small Group is walking through a powerful video study by David Bowden on RightNow Media.

Through spoken word, Scripture, and honest reflection, Bowden invites us to slow down and see God with fresh eyes. His teaching is creative, deeply biblical, and thoughtfully engaging—challenging us to move beyond surface-level faith into a more authentic relationship with Christ.

If you’re looking for a study that stirs both the heart and the mind, this group is a great place to grow, connect, and be inspired together.

  • John & Maggie Reynolds

    Group Meets Thursday at 6:00PM

This Small Group is walking verse by verse through the book of Romans, taking time to truly understand the depth and beauty of Paul’s message. Together, we explore the foundations of the gospel—grace, faith, righteousness, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Whether you’re new to Scripture or have studied it for years, this group creates space for thoughtful discussion, honest questions, and meaningful growth. If you’re ready to dig deep and build a strong biblical foundation, this is a great place to grow in your faith alongside others.

sunday school

One of the things that we believe is most important at Discovery Church is an understanding of the Word of God, how it applies to our everyday lives and how God uses the totality of scripture to guide and direct our lives. We have Sunday School classes that meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in the main auditorium. One of our hospitality team can direct you when you arrive.

What To Expect

Sunday school class is held in the main auditorium and is a mixture of classroom style teaching and conversation about the subject. Whether you enjoy conversing about the less or just like to listen, you'll feel right at home. Materials will be provided each week free of charge.
